The first weekend of July, the Lady of Borre opens the gates to a grand festival at the Feast Hall!

For three days, the area will be filled with merchants, warriors, craftsmen, and musicians from near and far – all ready to recreate Borre’s golden age with battle, trade, and craftsmanship.

Skilled artisans will demonstrate their impressive talents, while merchants proudly display their finest goods. Only the very best have been granted permission by the Lady of Borre to trade at Gildehallen – so make sure to bring enough silver to secure rare treasures!

On the battlefield, two mighty armies prepare for battle: swords clash, shields collide, and a grand fight will determine who is worthy of the Lady’s favour. The battle will be fierce, and only the strongest will remain standing.

The festival offers activities for all ages! Try your hand at Viking sports and test your skills in historic strength challenges, or challenge family and friends to traditional Viking board games. Tunsberg Historical Archers will also be present, ready to teach the art of longbow shooting and host exciting competitions.

This will be a weekend filled with experiences, excitement, and a truly historical atmosphere – join us and experience the Viking Age as it once was!
