The Viking Hall
Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 11am-4pm (until 7pm on Thursdays).
Closed for the season from 16th December. Also closed during January and February due to maintenance and lighting repair.

Entrance
- Adult: 100 NOK
- Children (0–6): Free entrance
- Children (7-17) and student/seniors: 70 NOK
- Family ticket: (2 adults with children, up to 17 years old): 270 NOK
- Groups: (Minimum 10 people): 70 NOK per person
The entrance ticket includes access to the Viking Hall, guided tour and the Viking playground.
We accept proof of companion for disabled people.
Other prices may apply during special events.
No need to purchase a ticket to visit the café or the Borre park and mounds.
Guided tours
Summer 2024
Every day from 1st June during summer, we offer guided tours in Borreparken and in the exhibition at The Viking Centre. Meeting point: Reception.
In Borreparken 2pm - 2.30pm
In the exhibition 3pm - 3.20pm
The guided tours are included in the enterance ticket.

Midgard Viking Centre wish to have an including offer for our visitors and we will do our best to make your visit extraordinary.
We offer:
- Marked parking spaces for disabled people, both outside the Viking Centre and the Viking Hall.
- Everything is located on the ground floor making it accessible for wheelchair users.
- We accept proof of companion for disabled people (free entrance always).

Midgard Viking Centre is located right next to the Borre Mounds in Horten. Here are som options on how to get here:
Car
Exit 34, “Undrumsdalskrysset” at E18 highway. Follow Riksvei 19. Take the first exit in the next roundabout to “Kirkebakken”. Make a left and follow the road to Midgard Vikingcentre.
Parking
Great parking just outside the Viking Centre and the Viking Hall including parking for disabled people.
Great parking for tour coaches.
Bus
The nearest bus stop is “Kirkebakken Borre”. Bus 01, 02 og 70 stops here.
